Christmas Part 2

we are so racing into 2013 that my christmas part 2 posting hasnt reached the www til now......so here is a snippet of time:

So a crafty christmas gets underway - this installation that you will see to follow was my tagged my 'vintage coastal' look as apposed to my country christmas in part 1.......and no i dont actually take this seriously but when it comes to all things crafty it is easy to get carried away and parts of the house, garden and even wardrobe become part of the decorating.....thats just how it is ok

usually i find that champagne is essential in christmas cheer, no  matter if you get along extremely well with your family, it tends to make things that little more festivus! the problem with this one is that it is nearly empty!
so as the light turns to dark, the table installation comes alive......and so do the many bugs that have hitched a ride in from the garden on various clippings. I think we counted something 26 candles in various shapes and sizes.....not bad
starting to get pretty artsy with the camera by this stage, you have no idea how many photos were taken of this!

 nature just being ridiculous!

ok you get it, plenty of all that and here we are at christmas dinner.....this is the duck on parsnip puree or is it the goose - oh so many moons ago now! by the way, is it just me or is thyme like a right pain in the butt to pick the leaves off???

so there you have it! A yumbo festivus......xo
